Melkor always desired light, but when he couldn't have that he wanted to cover the world in darkness... No, that's not right... at least not for this picture. More like, in his search for light, Melkor covered it in darkness... Meh, I had an idea about this picture at first, but now I can't seem to remember what it was >.<
(Wohoo stars and darkness, I'm so original <.<
Finally getting the hang of drawing hair I think
Melkor is the dark Vala from the Silmarillion, which belongs to Tolkien.
Lol now I got an image in my head: Melkor in the future, sitting with Photoshop and turning up the contrast on all the pictures he can get his hands on... That'll totally happen at the end of the world, Melkor tries to take over the world with Photoshop! /).-
Right... anyway you're definately right about that, light shines more brightly in darkness. I was probably thinking something along those lines too. ^^
Just kidding, but if you think of it, all the lights seem to shine more when you are surrounded by darkness. Melkor was a poet... in his style.
I love that background, by the way!
